1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device. Some are essential for a site to work (e.g. keeping you logged in). Others are optional and used for things like analytics or advertising — those require your consent.
2. The cookies we use
| Cookie | Purpose | Type | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
pb_session |
Keeps form submissions secure (CSRF token) and remembers if you've just submitted one | Essential | Browser session |
pb_cookie_consent |
Remembers your cookie choice so we don't keep asking | Essential | 12 months |
cf_chl_* & related |
Cloudflare Turnstile — verifies you're a human when submitting forms | Essential | 30 minutes |
3. Optional cookies
If you choose "Accept all" in the cookie banner, we load Google Analytics (GA4 with IP anonymisation). It helps us see which pages people visit and roughly where in the country they're coming from — useful for knowing where to focus.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes unique visitors | 2 years |
_ga_* | Google Analytics | Maintains session state | 2 years |
If you choose "Essential only", none of these are set. We never load advertising cookies or behavioural tracking.
4. Third-party cookies
The only third-party service that may set cookies is Cloudflare Turnstile, used to keep our forms safe from spam bots. It's set by challenges.cloudflare.com and is essential for the form to work. Cloudflare's privacy notice covers their handling: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
We don't embed YouTube, Facebook pixels, Google Maps or any other third-party widgets that would set tracking cookies.
5. How to control cookies
You have two ways to manage cookies on this site:
- Re-trigger our banner — clear the
pb_cookie_consentcookie in your browser and the choice prompt will appear next time you visit. - Block cookies in your browser — most browsers let you block all cookies or just third-party ones in their privacy settings. Note: if you block all cookies, our forms won't be able to verify submissions and may stop working.
Help articles for major browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.
6. Changes to this policy
If we add new cookies or change how we use existing ones, we'll update this page and (if material) re-prompt you for consent.
