5–10 MbpsBasic

HD video for one person, browsing, email, social media. Video calls work but can stutter. Not enough for a household sharing.

25–50 MbpsComfortable

HD streaming for two or three people at once, smooth video calls, online gaming, working from home with a couple of cloud apps open.

100 Mbps+Plenty

4K streaming on multiple TVs, large file downloads, busy household with everyone online, small office with cloud workflows.

Up to 300 Mbps5G best case

What 5G can deliver when conditions are right — strong signal, low congestion, modern router placed well. Real-world speeds vary a lot by address, time of day and what's around you. Some customers see this; plenty see less.

If your existing fibre is fast and reliable, you don't need us. We'll tell you that — even though it costs us a customer.
